Tanya Morgan

Tanya Morgan is a rap group. More than that, they’re a great rap group as evidenced by the acclaim they’ve received from the likes of Billboard, Vibe, SPIN, XXL Magazine, XLR8R, Los Angeles Times, The Onion, NY Magazine and a bevy of other press outlets who have praised the group throughout the duration of their career. “Tanya Morgan are like the sons of De La Soul — soulful, stressed, effortlessly smart flows, intricate production, the whole package,” says SPIN Music Editor Charles Aaron.

Iron Solomon

Iron Solomon is a recording artist managed by Imprint One80 through its partnership with Royal. When Iron Solomon’s dad brought home a copy of N.W.A.’s Straight Outta Compton, a monster was born. The album’s collage style – laden with soulful samples, rumbling bass, chunky drum machines, rock guitar hits and brash yet socially conscious wordplay – would become the blueprint for Solomon’s creativity.

D. Julien

D. Julien is a Brooklyn-based MC signed to Imprint One80 as a recording artist. His past is as critical to understanding his artistry as his present and future. The Flatbush-bred Brooklynite, who is only 20 years old, has been rhyming since age 7. While the first CD he ever listened to was Notorious B.I.G.’s debut album “Ready to Die,” his father, a local DJ, exposed Julien to a wide variety of artists and groups who came before his time, such as Rakim, KRS-One and Public Enemy.

City of God

City of God is a unique band that uses elements of Funk, Dance and Hip Hop to create a distinctive sound that defies genre and can’t be placed in a box. Even though the group hasn’t even put the finishing touches on their debut album, they have already received significant radio play in Florida and have toured extensively throughout North and South America.
